Antique Master Print, titled: 'Vue de la Tour Lardier et du pont de Soissons (Aisne).' - A view of the bridge over the river Aisne at Soissons. Rare, Gaffanti was only active between 1821 and 1823, when he went bankrupt. His production was small. Soissons. Lithograph on wove paper. Made by 'Jean Jacques Gaffanti' after own design. Jean Jacques Gaffanti was active in Paris as lithographic printer between 1821 and 1823. Good, given age. Large margins. Two small tears in top margin consolidated with acid free tape. A stain in top margin and light crease in top of print. Also light creasing in lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
