Antique Master Print, titled: 'Le voleur dessapointe.' - The dissapointed thief; a man surprised by an apparition after breaking open a strongbox. Lithograph on wove paper. Description: Published by Francois le Villain (active 1820-1830's), a French lithographer and printer in the early 19th century in Paris. His print shop was famous and higly frequented among the artists of his time.Artists and Engravers: Anonymous. Condition: Good, given age. Ample margins, two restored tears in the top margin. Some creasing in the lower margin and two soft vertical creases in the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
