Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 10 x 8.3 inch. The image size is ca. 7.6 x 5.8 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Aan de Oude Wetering.' - (At the old polder canal.) Attractive view onto the town of Oude Wetering, The Netherlands. With sailing ships. Probably published by P. Fouquet Junior in Amsterdam, ca. 1760. Probably published as a small collection of prints, bound in a wrapper held together by a cord. Numbered #5.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Hendrik Spilman' after own design. Hendrik / Henricus Spilman (1721-1784) was a Dutch painter, designer and etcher from Amsterdam, active in Haarlem. He was a pupil of Abraham de Haen II. His style resembles A. van Everdingen and N. Berghem. He made mostly town and city views.Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
