The Column we see at Sanata Trinita Place is of Oriental granitePalazzo Strozzi, begun in 1489 for the merchant Filippo Strozzi, from designs of Benedetto da Majano, which were continued by Simone Pallajuolo - Il Cronaca. The palace is faced with rough-hewn stone, which, instead of detracting from, gives, by contrast, an appearance of extra finish to the details. At the corners are beautiful specimens by Caparr? of the iron fanale, which were only allowed to the most distinguished citizens.This exquisite Architecture Print shows a remarkable drawing of Tuscan Renaissance Architecture.
