Born in Hampshire, studied art at Manchester School for Art and the Royal College of Art winning the Prix de Rome, British School in Rome. Davies established his own print making workshop in Belfast. He has participate in many group shows and had a solo exhibitions including Birmingham Polytechnic, Compass Gallery in Glasgow, Bluecoat Gallery Liverpool,Hendricks Gallery, Dublin,and Limerick Gallery.
