Image size 24.5 x 31.5 cm (9.75 x 12.25 inches) Card size 31 x 37cm (12.5 x 14.5 inches)The Snape Maltings image from Piper is usually seen as a screenprint on silk scarfs which were made to celebrate its reopening following a devastating fire in 1969 This cyanotype would have been produced alongside these screenprints, possibly as a test to judge the perimeters of the print and to see more clearly what lines and forms would be created.
