Following the Fire of London, the church of St. Mary Le Bow was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren in the years 1668 to 1680. This 19th-century photograph shows the church and its neighbors, including the offices of the London Stereoscopic & Photographic Co. On the far right side of the photo are the offices of Keith, Prowse & Co., musical instrument manufacturer and music publisher. Cheapside itself is filled with horse-drawn vehicles and pedestrians.
