Die erde - TerraCopperplate engraving/etching with hand colouring on hand laid (verge) paper. Sheet size: 30,7 x 21,2 cm. Image size: 27,7 x 18,8 cm. No. 3 from a series of elements and No. 21 of a larger series. Made by Martin Gottfried Crophius after an anonymous artist. Martin Gottfried Crophius (German, 1717 1765), German artist and engraver.Condition: Fair, given age. Repaired tear top left corner. Several small worm holes. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
