Medium: Oil An original 1959 oil on hard canvas board painting last originating in Chicago, IL by a very talented American artist, possibly Richard Judson Zolan, Chicago born and graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago. This is a copy of a John Singer Sargent 1878 painting titled "Head of Anacapri Girl." Rosina Ferrara (1861 ??1934) was an Italian girl from the island of Capri, who became the favorite muse of John Singer Sargent and other artists. The frame measures approximately 17 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches and the board measures approximately 15 1/2 x 16 inches. Thanks for looking at this fine vintage painting.
