This view is a modification of Hennepin's early view of the Falls with additions from a letter by Peter Kalm, a Swedish bot8anist, appearing in the Pennsylvania Gazette in 1750. The additions, which are keyed below the view, are of men crossing over the east stream with staves and "The Indians reascending their ladder." Kalm's letter was reprinted in the January, 1751 issue of The Gentleman's Magazine which is included with this view/ (The view was published in the February 1751 of the magazine ) You will receive; The print of Niagra and The January 1751 issue of the Gentleman's Magazine PLease note the January 1751 issue does not include any plates.
