A 20th century re-strike on untrimmed sheet of high quality paper of an early woodcut depicting the Prophet Samuel anointing Saul as king. See Samuel I, Chapter 1, Verse 1. It takes place right outside of a medieval town, using a man made vessel and not the ram's horn used in anointing King David. Framed image: 166 x 103 mm. Sheet's dimensions: 275 x 205 mm.
