Contemporary half calf leather. Good copy. 8°. With folding frontispice, a small engraving on the titlepage, 26 engr. emblems after O. Vaenius, Emblemata Horatian, 4 engr. plates depicting the four seasons. Nice edition of this charming emblembook. Each emblem with a motto and a poem by Anthony Janssen van ter Goes (1626-1699).
