Newspaper section 8A pamphlet in the form of a "Make-It Yourself Book" supplement, 16-page booklet folded from 2 newsprint sheets (quarto), 10.5 x 7.3 in. In Very Good condition, light page toning, clean pages (uncut and without creases), light creasing at corner tip, some separation along perforations where internal folds meet, color drawings are bright. Presented in mylar sleeve with cardboard backing to ensure it arrives undamaged. Written and illustrated by Armorel Kay Walling. Section 8A was a Sunday supplement appealing to children's creativity in addition to telling charming stories. "The Indian smiled.She said. The Cat's yen for the 19th century (including art, fashion, affairs, exploration) is possibly influenced by living in a 19th century brownstone, a future gallery for the store.
