Vol. LXVII Nos. 2806-9, 2811. Feb/March 1916 Originally a country gentlemen s magazine, Land & Water shifted its emphasis to coverage of the war at the outbreak of World War I and during the war was edited by Hilaire Belloc. It regularly featured on the front cover the coruscating satirical cartoons of Louis Raemaekers and on the reverse there was usually another war-related illustration. This is a small collection of 5 original front pages from early 1916. There is also a cutting of an interesting little article from the 17th February issue. All of these are lightly browned around the margins and have a few nicks along the edges. No 2807 has larger pieces missing from 2 of the corners but the front cover illustrations are unaffected.
