Five volumes. Small folio. Stiff glossy photographic wrappers. Illustrated. Publications issued by the Standard Oil Photography Project in the 1940s to document the oil industry and its workers. Six volumes were published and this set lacks only the last volume. Each volume has 16 pages of photographs by such noted photographers as Gordon Parks, John Felix Vachon, Jacob Lofman, Sol Libsohn, Todd Webb, Esther Bubley, Louise Rosskam, Harold Corsini, Arnold Eagle and others.
