In fair condition. Original sewn wraps are stained, chipped with toning. Binding remains intact, but fragile. Free of marginalia or ownership. Evenly toned interior. Please see photos. First edition written anonymously by Sir Philip Francis (1740-1818) and Irish born politician, and generally accepted author of The Letters of Junius . In this pamphlet, he gives his through to on Britain s current relation with France. He was the chief antagonist on Warren Hastings, which led to the impeachment of Hastings and Elijah Impey by Parliament. He belonged to the Whig party.
