B&W and Color Illustrations; Two Issues: Oct. 26 and Nov. 17: Selections from The Biography of Huey Newton in two parts, and These two chapters of Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse Five have been published prior to it's official publication. Two oversized magazines with illustrated covers and stapled spines. The magazines are in Good condition and issued without dust jackets. The white covers of the magazines have some ground-in dirt and toning. There is a small chip missing from the spine of the magazine cover on the October issue, right at the bottom staple. The text pages are generally clean and bright, though there is some light toning. The two inmost sheets (four pages) of the October issue have come away from the staples, though there is no extra wear or tearing to the staple holes. The contents include: Selections from the Biography of Huey Newton, by Bobby Seale, with an Introduction by Eldridge Cleaver, A Welfare State for the Rich by Lee Webb, Shades of Berlin , in Mexico, Slaughterhouse Five or the Children's Crusade by Kurt Vonnegut Jr. : The First Two Chapters. (this magazine published Oct. 1968 : prior to the official publication in March of 1969). And more.
