Very Good softcover magazine; 2004. 10-13/16" x 9", 160 numbered pages. The normal, end-of-the-year photo roundup, done as only 'Life' magazine could do it. Outstanding photos with minimal commentary, on subjects great (the war in Iraq, volcanic eruption in the Caribbean, space shuttle 'Columbia' disaster, drought in India, the August blackout) and small (huge sun spots, World Series fight [?], Special Olympics held in Ireland, a baby hippo). A wonderful summary of a memorable year. This book is in Very Good condition: the exterior has slight soiling and lightly bumped upper corners, but no serious damage whatever.
