We offer a pen and ink family record for Christopher Whitaker, Parthenia Boyd Whitaker, and their nine children. The record lists Christopher and Parthenia being born in 1793 and 1794, respectively, and their children were born between 1814 and 1832. The children s names were Abram, James, John, Charles, David, Catharine, Robert, Alida, and Nancy. In William Philip Boyd s book, History of the Boyd Family and Descendants the passage about Christopher Whitaker and Parthenia Boyd states that Their entire married life was spent in Johnsburg, Warren County where all their nine children were born . The names, birth dates, and some death dates are artfully arranged in meticulously drawn rectangles with decorative geometric borders. John Whitaker s birth and death dates are in separate boxes. Henry Phillips London England is written at the bottom of the first page and Robt Gilchrist Mr Gilchrist Robt Gilchrist is written at the top of the second, otherwise blank, page.
