Anglo-American artist Peter Moran (1841-1914) boldly signed, Yours Truly PMoran on this 3 5/8 x 4 ½ piece of paper. Peter Moran was the younger brother of Thomas and Edward Moran, both artists, and studied and traveled West with them on sketching trips. Moran is best known for his paintings and etchings of animals in bucolic settings. Condition: Lightly soiled, mostly around edges, mounting remnants on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
