Printed music appendix for the World's Peace Jubilee, held in 1872 in Boston. Contains 35 pp. of sheet music. 8vo (10" by 6.5"), pp. 35, [1], original printed peach wrappers. The World's Peace Jubilee and International Musical Festival of 1872 took place in the Back Bay area of Boston, Massachusetts. Patrick Sarsfield Gilmore directed the festival, which lasted some 18 days. The jubilee honored the ending of the Franco-Prussian War. Very good. Toning, wear to wrappers. Water staining.
