In part: " - please don't be impatient if you don't hear from me for sometime. I want to think out the entire story before I divide it into its twelve parts - " A rare letter written at the beginning of his long career as a screen writer. Films/works include "Jezebel" (1938); "Up in Arms" (1944); "Icebound" (1924); "Ethan Frome" (1926). Davis (1874-1956) was an American dramatist.
