Beschreibung

Typed letter signed, folded twice, but in fine condition. Dated "27 October 1999" this letter was typed on the author's personal printed stationary ("THE CHANTRY NR. FROME SOMMERSET BA11 3LJ (013739) 836314"). It was typed, signed and hand corrected by the author himself. It reads (punctuation mistakes and corrections in the author's hand included): "Dear Mr Pieraccini, Thank you for your letter and your kind words about my writings . I visited Finland ,as an undergraduate, in 1924-25, I believe that I made a note of the name you mentioned sometime before / or after ward / 1951 for possible use in A DANCE TO THE MUSIC OF TIME. Yours sincerely, (signature), Anthony Powell". Shortly after typing this letter, Anthony Powell died (March 28th, 2000). Any autograph material referring to A Dance to the Music of Time is quite scarce. Bestandsnummer des Verk�ufers 19072021
