Original typescript of the novel, with Peter Janson-Smith s name to foot of title page, Ambler s agent and agent also to Ian Fleming among other literary heavyweights. Pencil publication details to front free endpaper. It is unclear whose hand these are in but they betray some similarities to Ambler s, particularly around words such as London .
