Features a wonderful cover design depicting an imaginary art convention that reveals more detail the closer you look (spot the child who dropped his hat, or the policeman escorting a dog out of the building). The content of the issue focuses on art education and "Advertising Art", stating that "There is no field of present day art that contains more possibilities than Advertising Art" (p. 7), foreshadowing the explosion of the ad industry in the 20th century. Showcases full-page mockups of colorful posters. Also features a story on color theory. Additional topics include How Art contributes to the Objectives of Education and Artistic School Rooms. Single vol. (9" by 6"), pp. 14, illus., in original illus. wrps printed in black, blue, and pink. Very good. Minor surface wear, water staining, wrappers detached.
