14 cm x 9 cm white paper card bifolium. Front printed in red and dark teal, with floral art nouveau decoration. Inside verso holds a single pressed bean flower, appx. 12 cm in length. Small break in stem at top, leaves and petals browned. Recto has a Bible verse from 2 Samuel 17: 28, 29: "Brought wheat, and barley, and flour, and parched corn, and Beans, and lentiles." Exterior lightly soiled, spine crease rubbed, corners gently pushed. Reverend Harvey B. Greene of Lowell, Massachusetts collected, preserved, and distributed these flowers from Palestine, a popular souvenir of the early 20th century. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 214
