This is a printed poster, distributed by the London Midland & Scottish Railway, threatening employees with the sack if they did not return to work having joined the UK General Strike in 1926. Dated 12th May 1926. A rare survival with "burn" marks on all 4 corners where it was probably secured by tape and marked with stains possibly from the surface to which it had been attached. With some minor worming mostly unaffecting text and with only 2 characters lightly "kissed" on their edges. Measuring 30" X 20". Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 001670
