German operatic soprano Frieda Hempel (1885-1955) signed this elegant portrait photographic postcard in which she is dressed in a satin gown and wearing a lengthy string of pearls. Frieda Hempel had an impressive singing career and performed internationally in London and New York City, as well as, throughout her native Germany. 5 3/8" x 3 3/8".
