Beschreibung

American singer and entertainer Al Jolson (1886-1950) signed this slip of Detroit Athletic Club stationery in an elegant script. Once dubbed The World s Greatest Entertainer, Jolson is known for his roles in musical films such as the first talking picture, The Jazz Singer (1927), and for his enthusiastic performing style that turned his singing performances into spectacular events. Measures roughly 5 x 5 1/8 . Condition: Fold line, mounting residue on verso, otherwise in very good condition.
