A massive collection of 102 original Acts of Parliament all related to Buildings (Workhouses, Churches, Jails, etc.). The majority are Folio size, disbound from a larger volume. A full detailed list of the Acts included is available upon request, but too large to list here. I've listed a sample of some of the Acts below: Buildings, Workhouses, etc. for more speedy and effectual determination of rights of offices and Franchises in Corporations and Boroughs. An Act for Rendring the Proceedings upon Writs of Mansamus, and Information in the Nature of a Quo Warranto, more Speedy and Effectual; and for the more esie Trying and Determining the Rights of Offices and Franchises in Corportions and Boroughs. Anno Nono Annae Reginae [1711] Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, finishing and Adorning New Chapel, called Saint George's Chapel in Great Yarmouth An Act for Finishing and Adorning the new Chapel, called Saint George's Chapel, in Great Warmouth in the County of Norfolk, and for Enlightning the Streets of the said Town, by a Duty or Imposition on Coals, Culm, and Cynders, to be landed and consumed there. Anno duodecimo Georgii II Regis 1739 Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, enable Parishioners of Ealing to raise Money by Rates An Act to enable the parishioners of the Parish of Ealing, in the County of Middlesex, to raise Money by Rates upon themselves for finishing the Church of the said Parish. Anno duodecimo Georgii II Regis 1739 Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, enable Inhabitants of Bethnal Green to compleat their Church An Act for enabling the Inhabitants of the Hamlet of Bethnal Green, in the County of Middlesex, to compleat their Church, and to pay Debts already contracted, for the Relief of the Poor of the said Hamlet. Anno duodecimo nono Georgii II Regis 1745 Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, rebuild Church of Saint Mary, Islington An Act to enable the Parishioners of the Parish of Saint Mary, Islington, in the County of Middlesex, to rebuild the Church of the said Parish. Anno vicesimo quarto Georgii II Regis 1751 Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, for dividing the Parish of Saint Philip and Jacob and for erecting a Church An Act for dividing the Parish of Saint Philip and Jacob, in the County of Gloucester, and in the City and County of Bristol; and for erecting a Church in the new intended Parish. Anno vicesimo quarto Georgii II Regis 1751 Buildings, Workhouses, Churches & Jails, finishing and completing Royal Hospital for Seamen at Greenwich An Act to render valid and effectual all Contracts and Agreements which shall be made by the Commissioners or Governors of the Royal Hospital for Seamen at Greenwich, for the Purchase of Lands, Tenements, and hereditaments, for the finishing and compleating the said Hospital; and for ascertaining the Recompence that shall be made for the same.
