The first item was used to promote Underwood Typewriters at the 1933 Chicago Fair titled ?A Century of Progress.? This item is in fine condition with just the slightest touch of edge-wear and with the ten black-and-white photographs showing Underwood products and supplies - and with the ticket still present and attached to the item. The ticket number is D 37528. 2) - - the second item is a one-fold instruction sheet with the two inside pages giving instruction for cleaning the machine, the type, and oiling the machine - - and with the opposite page showing pictures of the typewriter with letters and arrows pointing to the typewriter parts and corresponding to the cleaning and oiling instructions - - with the rear outside panel showing a nice photograph of an early Underwood typewriter - - circa 1920?s - - maybe earlier.
