Zeppelin, Ferdinand Graf von (1838-1917) - Fine letter signed - German general and later aircraft manufacturer. He founded the Zeppelin airship company. Letter signed "Gf. Zeppelin". 1p., 7.5 x 9.0 inch, Friedrichshafen, 1909 October 12. On his personal "Graf F. von Zeppelin" letterhead. Addressed to Kurt Engelbrecht in Bielefeld. Zeppelin rejects a request for employment in his company. In German, in parts: ". ich mich auf das Schreiben vom 10. ds. Mts. ergebenst zu verweisen, daß die auf dem Gebiete der Elektrotechnik vorkommenden Aufgaben von meinen . erledig werden; - ich kann Ihnen daher zu meinem Bedauern keine Aussicht auf Anstellung in meinem Betriebe bieten." Shipping
