Key (Houston, Texas), 5 3/8 x 8 1/4 inches tall stapled paperbound in red covers, printed only on recto side of each leaf, thoroughly indexed, vii, 52, [9] ff. plus a one-page addendum with the Underwood, Barber and Burchfield families laid in. Moderate to heavy soiling, creasing, rubbing and edgewear to covers, with prior owner name to top margin of front cover, where the title has been 'colored in' by a prior owner. Slight to moderate foxing to a number of pages, with creasing or chipping to a few page tips. Otherwise, a clean and unmarked copy of this rare family history and genealogy. OCLC (No. 37215511) locates only one copy at institutions worldwide - at the Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. ~K~ [1.0P] Traces the known descendants of John Key (1776-1850) and his wife Martha Davis (1775-1859), who emigrated from Ireland and Scotland, respectively, and settled in Raleigh, North Carolina. Descendants lived in North and South Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
