Alle Exemplare der Ausgabe mit dieser ISBN anzeigen:D.H. Lawrence had unconventional opinions, especially about sexuality, and at the time of his death he was thought of mainly as a pornographer who had wasted his considerable talents. But E.M. Forster, in an obituary notice, described him as ""the greatest imaginative novelist of our generation."" Later critics concurred, and Lawrence is now remembered as an important modernist intellectual.
Reseña del editor:The Trespasser, one of D. H. Lawrence's lesser known works, was first published in 1912. Based on the personal diary of Helen Corke, the work follows her intimate relationship with her music teacher Siegmund MacNair, who cannot bring himself to either leave his wife and kids or commit himself permanently to Helen. After he commits suicide, Helen is devastated and heart-broken.
