Elaine Forrestal was born in Perth, Western Australia. She has travelled widely and lived in France, Northern Ireland, England and Canada. She has taught in infant schools for fifteen years. Being both a writer and a teacher, many of her stories spring from school experiences. She has published many magazine articles and short stories and this is her second novel. Elaine Forrestal currently lives in Australia.
