Buchbeschreibung Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Good. Filled with illustrations (nearly 500); many of them directly taken from the film frame - including shot-by-shot analysis of key scenes. Dust jacket is in at least good condition - with slight hint of tanning at the flaps' edges. Fine plain black cloth boards with author, title, publisher in gilt along the spine. Top edge has some foxing. Internally all the photos and text are clear, though the pages are all slightly tanned and lightly foxed at the edges. Spread across the paste downs and end papers (i.e. both back and front) is a black and white photo (note size below) of Hitchcock being interviewed by Truffaut in 1962. Combined with the many other illustrations, this is fitting given the former's comment that 'he can't read fiction without visualizing every scene.' pp280. 190mm x 260mm. Abe2048.
