As a result, Simmons work is a hefty volume of seven parts, eight appendices, bibliography, genealogical and names index plus general index. First edition from Reed of 1976, 504 pages,NZ map showing tribal boundaries, numerous genealogical lists. tables etc throughout. Blue hard covers with silver spine titles are G+ with wear to edges, corners, spine hinges and extremities, with tiny damage section to lower front edge adjacent spine, blue e/papers with dealer label top left FFEP and unobtrusive former owner name alongside at top edge, text block is tight in covers and its condition is excellent.
