Jim Warner is an entrepreneur and life-transition expert with insights grounded in a rare combination of experience and empathy. From 1980 through 1992, he skillfully navigated the peaks and valleys of the burgeoning software industry. First, he led his own firm from start-up through phenomenal growth. Midstage, he forged beyond downsizing to successful resurgence. Ultimately, Warner sold his company, with visions of comfortable, secure, and satisfying days ahead. But the transition was far rockier than he expected. In his midforties Jim entered a three-year period of introspection and questioning: How to rejuvenate relationships with his family and friends? How to leverage his existing and latent skills and interests in a meaningful way? How to overcome personal weaknesses that blocked his fulfillment?
