Reseña del editor:
Organising an Academic Conference: Guidelines for Scholarly and Financial Success will assist those tasked with organizing an academic conference. Detailed examples and templates are also included, so that this book can serve as a single reference source for conference conveners and conference organizing committees. Developed from the experiences of the authors who have organized multiple international conferences, this book provides guidelines for the rigorous processes needed, including the associated conference publications and awards. Following these guidelines will save significant time and prevent errors, omissions, and hassles as the conference start date draws closer. The market for this book extends to academics from any discipline in business, law, social sciences, education or science. It will also be a useful reference for conference conveners, conference organizing committee members and staff from professional conference organizer (PCO) companies who need to understand the specific requirements for an academic conference.
