Biografía del autor:

Juan Maria Laboa was born in Pasajes de San Juan (Guip zcoa, Spain) in 1939. He holds a degree in philosophy and theology and earned his doctorate in church history at the Gregorian University in Rome and a degree in history from the University Complutense of Madrid. For fifteen years, he taught political science at the Facultad de Ciencias Pol ticas in Madrid. He is Professor Emeritus of Contemporary Church History at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas of Madrid, where he directed the Department of Church History. He is the editor of the review XX Siglos de Historia de la Iglesia.
