Co-author -Anthony Pothoulakis, M.D., FACC Dr. Pothoulakis is a practicing cardiologist. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in clinical cardiology, interventional cardiology, and internal medicine, and by the Certification Council of Nuclear Cardiology, in nuclear cardiology; he has also passed the American Society of Echocardiography exam in echocardiography (heart ultrasound studies). Between 2003 and 2007, he served as assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. In addition to medicine, he has studied mathematics (including classic and fuzzy set theory), statistics, economics, philosophy of science, music theory, and music composition. In 2007 he and George Demosthenous founded uKare Analytics, a company with the mission to create innovations in health care education and health care delivery, patient-centric medical profile reports (modeled after financial reports), and self-care products related to cardiometabolic health and chronic disease management. Co-author -George Demosthenous, M. Sc., M.B.A uKare Analytics CEO and Co-Founder. He is practicing business financial advisor and portfolio management. He received an undergrad degree in electronics and a Master’s degree in cybernetics from the University of London, and an M.B.A. from the University of Dayton. Co-developed with Dr. Anthony Pothoulakis the uKare concept, implemented visual design think, illustration design and rendering of the visual abstractions of the uKare tools and concept illustrations. Founded Microstylo International for designing and coding windows based development tools, for end-user programming of visual interfaces with seamless database integration and rule based technology.
