Belford, son of Past Master Brother William W. Belford and grandson of Brother David W. A. Belford, of Lodge No. 256, was born at Milton, Pa., August 22, 1882. He attended the public schools from which he graduated, and then entered Bucknell University, from which he graduated with the class of 1905. He read law under the preceptorship of Past Master Brother William H. Hackenberg and was admitted to the Bar of Northumberland County, September 14, 1908, since which time has practiced his profession in Milton. He is a brother of Brother Homer C. Belford of same Lodge. He was initiated in Milton Lodge, No. 256, September 7, 1903, was elected secretary upon the death of Past Master Brother D.
