The beginning of a friendship and partnership between Bob Johnson, college English professor and amateur detective, and Frank Ingram, homicide lieutenant with the Sioux Fall Police Department in the Crimes Against People Unit. On the way home from a long shift he is called to a particularly grim crime scene. The victim was Betsy Sogstad, the woman he loved for the previous ten years since they were high school sweethearts. She was left near the dumpster behind to local food mission in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The suspect is not in question!
Biografía del autor:
Scott H. Hendricks (1949 - ) was born in Sacramento, California, to parents who both grew up in California, a high school teacher and an electrician. Scott has been a teller of tall tales since before he entered school and actually took his first writing class in third grade. He grew up in Sacramento and graduated from Simpson College in Indianola. Iowa, twelve miles south of his maternal grandmother's home town of Des Moines. After studying English and American Studies he spent the last thirty-eight years in banking and finance; while writing articles and critiques for literary magazines and quarterlies. In 1978 he moved with his wife, Lynda and his family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Around 1990 he wanted to move his writing into fiction and started to write poetry and short stories. He won several poetry contests and published several short stories and poem in magazines and e-zines. He finished his first book, River of Tears in 2006 and had it published for a short time by Cinnabarbridge Publishing before it went out of business.
