Biografía del autor:
Azar Rabii was born in Tabriz, capital of the state of Northwestern Azerbaijan, Iran, in a famous family of artists and poets. The history of her family goes back 500 years. Azar's father, Rassam Arjangi, was one of the leading artists of his time. His biography and some of his works are displayed on the web site: www.argangi.org/rassam. He was also a great storyteller. When Azar was a little girl, despite of his busy life, he spent time with his children and told them wonderful folk stories passed trough generations by heart. The author is a graduate of Tehran University. She has earned a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. She was one of the very first women engineers in Iran. Azar married her classmate, Fereydoon Rabii, another graduate of Tehran University with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. They have three sons. They also have a granddaughter named Isolde Mitra. She is very sweet and talented and loves to hear about Persia. That is why Azar wrote these stories. The author hopes you like them too.
