Tatiana Sorokina is a Russian native who moved to USA in 2005. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education, a Master's Degree in English Literature and an MBA. Tatiana loves reading and writing since childhood. She is a published author: her highly acclaimed guide for newcomers to Chicago, "The Legal Alien's Guide", was chosen a finalist in Foreword Magazine Book of the Year contest in 2007. In 2010 Tatiana Sorokina also published a book called "Unforgettable Christmas: Day-by-Day Activities, Events and Resources Guide to 25 Days of Christmas." Tatiana currently works at the University of Illinois. She lives in Illinois with her husband and son who inspired her to write books for children. Tatiana is now working on her new literary project - the Russian translation of "The Night Before Christmas" by C. C. Moore.
