Mark Telford comes from a mainly retail, business background, but has tried his hand at many things. He was a successful Greyhound breeder and trainer for a number of years and has also written extensively on the subject. He has long been a classic car enthusiast and has written many articles about two stroke cars. This is his first full length book. He maintains a popular blog about two stroke cars that has a wide readership that spans the globe. His interest in two stroke cars came about after a chance article appeared in a magazine he was reading. He bought the car that featured in the article and it started a passion for two stroke cars that has been the driving force for this book. He states " When I first got interested in two stroke cars, I looked on Amazon and other sites for a book that would further my knowledge and interest. There were such books, but only in German. Not one book existed solely on the topic of two stroke cars in English, so I decided to research the subject and write my own, making it the sort of book I'd be happy to purchase".
