Reseña del editor:
Picture this...you’re in a hole so deep or a place so dark that you cannot see your way out. You have exhausted everything you know to do and nothing changes. You may muster a smile on the outside, but you feel like you’re dying on the inside. You feel hopeless, ashamed, defeated, and desperate. So what do you do? You try one thing after the next without any change. You become frustrated with yourself and others. You are forced to ask yourself some tough questions such as... how did I get in this situation? How can I get out of it? When will it end? When will I see change? Was it worth it? I think we have all felt like this at some point or another. The question is...what do we do about it? How do we change the situation? As a father, husband, coach, mentor, and former business executive, Wilson has experienced situations that made him ask these very questions. He realized, through many trials and errors the power of change was in his perspective. His philosophy of Seeing Past Now has created a sense of calm in his life and he feels compelled to share with others. He reveals some sensitive areas of his life that inspired the changes needed for peace and contentment. Whether you are a youth or an adult, this is a must read.
Biografía del autor:
Trent D. Wilson, Sr. resides in Raleigh, NC with his wife of 24 years, Holly, his three sons, along with their two dogs. After a successful 20+ year career in the mortgage industry, there was still something missing. He has always had compassion for people in need and seemed to have a word of encouragement to share. He had always coached his sons in sports and this provided a true fulfillment. It was not until the business market started to turn downward that he started to search for “real” happiness and contentment. A near fatal accident coupled with three years of intensive and painful rehabilitation put everything into perspective. It, along with encouragement from friends inspired him to share his unique perspective on life’s challenges through writing and speaking to various audiences. He went on to complete his Bachelor’s degree after a 20 year absence and continued on to obtain his MBA. Currently, he works at the local high school as a faculty member, coach, and mentor. He is also mentors inmates at the state correctional facility. He is truly living the mindset of Seeing Past Now
