Kim Baker took her first pony ride at the age of four. She has several decades of understanding and knowledge in the ways of horses which drove her to seek a new career in horses after being laid off from Corporate IT in 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Arizona in 1998, and later received her Master's Degree in Integrated Sciences [Biology, Mathematics, and Computer Science] from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2005.
