Reseña del editor:
Using evidence of death to argue life comes natural to our anonymous anti-hero who grazes the foreign streets looking to make an example. Of what? He breathes contagious diseases and spews sickness over everyone he touches. Death soon follows. What is life without death? We are all meant to dichotomize. It begins as an innocent travel story, an American in Paris. But when the American comes across the Spaniard, a man who contends with his every ideology and flips his world around, so begins his fall into madness. The Spaniard opens him up to the world and unleashes chaos. The American is obsessed with the notion of perfection in that it is only found in death. He craves it, and thus embraces the madness. Can love salvage his remaining humanity? He saves her life and now what? He can't possibly tell her about his caged insanity. It needs to be freed. It wants to pounce on her, rip her apart, but he can control it, right? No, he falls deeper into himself. He cuts all his ties and goes it alone. He flees the country. His madness is cast like a shadow to all that he passes. He becomes known to the world. It seems all roads lead back to the beginning, and so he returns to Paris. But he has not come alone. A Spanish Detective takes it upon himself to catch the killer. But he falls into the darkness, the American's shadow. And so the Detective becomes infected. The American finds himself in a familiar situation, and the Spanish Detective has come too far to turn back.
