James Sumner Kendrick is a writer, humorist and magazine publisher. Hundreds of his articles and essays have been published during the course of his career. Howard’s Turn on Stage is his third novel, set in Boston and the northern coast of Maine. Material for this book has been gathered along the pathway of his life as a publishing CEO; correspondent for the Associated Press, The Boston Globe, Maine Sunday Telegram, and World Times; commercial fisherman; logger, traveling salesman; corporate consultant; musician; taxi driver; and incompetent laborer.
